Ioanna is a senior executive with extensive experience in Public Affairs, Market Access, Business Development and Licensing, Pricing & Reimbursement, Payer value propositions within Greece and international environments in Healthcare. She is a pragmatic team leader committed in always delivering exceptional results, operating with integrity and trust.

Ioanna has gathered valuable experience from 23 years working for Novartis in different strategic roles and across all therapeutic categories both in GenMed ( i.e Ophtha, CVM, Derma, Respi, NS, Rheumatology, Transplantation) and Oncology. She has good knowledge of Rare Diseases, Gene Therapies as well as Biosimilars and Generics across the products’ lifecycle. She has also worked in various projects around Loss of Exclusivity.

Ioanna coordinated for 4 years a Think Tank of European Experts which aimed at fostering dialogue among multiple stakeholders involved in market access, leveraging the power of collaboration, and producing tangible outputs, designed to ensure that every patient in Europe has optimal access to available treatments. Back in 2013 she collaborated with Harvard, Health Policy and Mng Dpt on a project where they used the root-cause analysis methodology to identify the pitfalls of the Greek HC system and made proposals for its sustainability based on expertise gained from studying HC systems around the globe.

Ioanna has a Professional MBA and post-graduate studies on HTA from Sheffield University. She lives with her family in Athens
