Richard is an international executive with 20+ years of strategic and operational experience in healthcare.  He has developed skills and experience in Marketing, Sales, Launch Management, Business Development & Licensing and Market Access.

Richard has managed a broad range of therapeutic areas in Specialty Markets (Women’s Health, Endocrinology, Transplantation & Immunology, Infectious Diseases, Respiratory, Oncology, CNS) and in Mass Markets (Corporate Branded Generics) on country, regional and global levels.

Originally from the Netherlands, Richard has spent most of his career abroad (Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Singapore) with Novartis, Merck Serono and Teva Pharmaceuticals.  He has a Life Sciences and Business background, with an MSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Amsterdam and an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
