Our client has contacted us at the end of June, and was looking for the accurate, specific price setting rules and constraints described in a way that is relevant for its business: the information needs to help explain the level of ex-manufacturer price (before discounts and rebates) that the client can charge.
They needed content to make projections as accurately as possible, including estimating the ex-manufacturer (list) price at launch, plus characterizing any necessary changes in that price level as a function of specific events (e.g. loss of exclusivity or entry of first generic to market)
They wished to receive a good overview of price setting rules and practices in its Top 20 markets and other countries that can impact prices in these markets, including, price setting rules at launch and later in product lifecycle by product type, by segment.
